Picture
We raise our registered Nigerian Dwarf goats as beloved pets as well as productive dairy animals. Our small herd is well-loved and cared for. Our girls (and boys) are friendly, happy, and healthy. They come from great milking lines including NC PromisedLand, Old Mountain Farm, and Sugar Moon. We are members of the American Dairy Goat Association and hope to participate in performance improvement programs as we become more experienced. Our ADGA herd name is Sugar Maple, an homage to the beautiful maple trees on our property and the delicious syrup we produce! Our herd tested negative for CAE, CL, and Johne's in May 2020 and June 2018.

Doe kids are available for sale at $300-$400 with ADGA registration paperwork. Wether kids are available for sale at $125 without registration, or $225 for a pair. Buck kids are available at $200 with ADGA registration paperwork.

Non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to reserve your goat. Goats will be available to go home at 8-12 weeks of age once they are weaned and eating hay and grain. Rarely we may have a bottle baby available to go sooner to experienced homes only, or an adult doe or buck. Goats are herd animals and must go in pairs (or greater) unless you have similarly aged goats at home already. Our kids are typically dam-raised with daily handling and socialization. Kids will be disbudded (unless naturally polled), wethered if they are male (unless otherwise discussed), vaccinated with CDT, treated with coccidia prevention, dewormed, and tattooed. Goats being sold with ADGA registration will come with appropriate forms - registration and/or transfer fees are the responsibility of the buyer. We do not offer transport - you must pick up your goats on the agreed-upon date at our farm. All goats will be healthy at the time they are sold, but no further guarantees can be made. All sales are final for biosecurity reasons.
